Sachtext: use of language
Übung 1
| a · 1 Wortwahl | Ein Wort sagt: Niemand bemerkt das Unrecht. |
| b · 2 Bild | Die Karriere als Weg mit Stufen. |
| c · 3 Häufung | Dreimal our, eine Aufzählung. |
| d · 4 Satzbau | Ein kurzer Satz nach einer langen Aufzählung. |
| e · 5 Kontrast | Der Satz kippt mit But. |
| f · 6 Frage | Die Leser sollen selbst antworten. |
| g · 3 Häufung | Dreimal to …, eine Aufzählung. |
| h · 1 Wortwahl | Abwertend: alle gleich, keine Vielfalt. |
Übung 2: was im Text steht (in fünf Minuten findest du nicht alles)
- „the best writer in her year“ (l. 3)
- „had run the school magazine“ (l. 3)
- „everyone who stays at home“ (ll. 14–15)
- „talented students who never apply“ (l. 18)
- „readers who wonder why“ (l. 19)
- „had an aunt who knew the editor“ (l. 4)
- „parents who can cover the rent“ (ll. 12–13)
- „students who already have a room in the city“ (ll. 13–14)
- „those who need it least“ (l. 24)
Gut zum Einkreisen: „the best writer in her year“ gegen „had an aunt who knew the editor“, oder „talented students who never apply“ gegen „those who need it least“. Ein möglicher Satz:
Those who miss out are described by what they can do, those who get the placement by what they have, so the text sets talent against money and connections.
Übung 3: ein möglicher Absatz
The author’s word choice sets ability against privilege: „the best writer in her year“ and a student who „had run the school magazine“ (l. 3) lose to one who „had an aunt who knew the editor“ (l. 4). The anaphora „It is paid for by“ (ll. 12–15) reinforces this, naming parents „who can cover the rent“ and students who „already have a room in the city“ (ll. 12–14). Together, these choices make readers see unpaid placements as a reward for what people have, not for what they can do.
- Allgemeine Wirkungen wie „makes the text more vivid“ oder „catches the reader’s attention“. Sie passen auf jeden Text.
- Den Ton hier behandeln. Er gehört beim Sachtext zu den communicative strategies.
